Cara Hunter's All the Rage (Penguin) has stormed into the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction top spot, earning the "highly quotable" tag—readers highlighted passages more frequently in All the Rage than any other title.
It knocked Andrzej Sapkowski's The Last Wish (Gollancz) into to second place, while Adele Parks' Lies Lies Lies (HQ) rose to join it in third. However, The Last Wish's sequel Blood of Elves hit the top 20 for the first time.
Terry Pratchett made his solo début on the Most-Sold: Fiction chart, with Discworld title Men at Arms (Transworld) barrelling into 12th place.
While the Harry Potter books once again dominated Most-Read: Fiction, All the Rage rose seven places to claim 11th.
Pinch of Nom: Everyday Light (Bluebird) held the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction pole, as it clinched a fifth week in total in the Nielsen BookScan's UK Official Top 50 number one spot. Miguel Barclay's Meat-Free One Pound Meals (Headline) made its début in fourth place, while Tom Kerridge's Lose Weight and Get Fit (Bloomsbury Absolute) rose into the top five.
Perhaps Bill Bryson's The Body (Transworld) has made the leap from 2019 Christmas gift to 2020 cheat-sheet to health—the title once again reigned in the Most-Read: Non-Fiction top spot.
