An agent's Hollywood lowdown

<p>Nick Robinson at Constable&amp;Robinson has bought world rights in No Escape from Hollywood by Chris Snyder after the proposal and sample chapters arrived in his inbox from an agent -- Patrick Hughes at Brighton Coast Entertainment -- he had never heard of.

Snyder, whose clients have included the late River Phoenix, gives the lowdown on the life of the Hollywood agent in a style that Robinson describes as reminiscent of Toby Young. "It's incredibly funny I couldn't put it down," he says. He made his offer after several of his colleagues agreed with him.
