Accent releases charity celebrity bakebook

Accent Press will be publishing a celebrity bakebook featuring recipes from contributors including musical actress Denise Van Outen, presenter Ferne Cotton and author Katie Fforde, with proceeds going to the Ben Kinsella Trust, a charity set up to raise awareness about knife crime.

Accent Press will publish the book as a £14.99 hardback on 6th September 2012. It will also contain a foreword and recipes by cookery writer Mary Berry, as well as Jane Asher, former "Strictly Come Dancing" judge and children's author Arlene Philips, actress Lynda Bellingham and presenter Lorraine Kelly, among others including Edd Kimber and Gabby Logan.

Managing director Hazel Cushion said: "This is such an important project and we are delighted to be involved. It is wonderful that Linda Morris [whose idea the book was] already has so many key contributors and the interest from people wanting to be involved is astounding."

The publisher has previously released Food for Heroes, supporting the Help for Heroes charity, and East Meets West which raised money for Tsunami relief.
