Independent publisher Accent Press has signed a six-book series of historical romances from Jane Jackson.
The company bought world rights to re-publish six of Jackson’s novels, beginning with Eye of the Wind which will be released in paperback on 25th April. It was originally published by Robert Hale in 2001.
Jackson is a prolific author who has written 27 novels, including 14 for Harlequin Mills & Boon as Dana James, with her work translated into 19 languages.
Accent Press m.d. Hazel Cushion said: “We are delighted to be working with Jane, she is such a talented and highly regarded author. Her books appeal to both men and women in the same way as other historical series like Winston Graham’s Poldark novels.”
The other five re-published novels, which are already available as e-books, will be released throughout the year.
Eye of the Wind is set in Cornwall during the Napoleonic Wars, a follows a young woman fighting to rescue her father’s boat yard from ruin.
