Accent Press acquires celeb bake book

Accent Press is publishing a celebrity baking title, with a foreword by "Great British Bake Off" judge Mary Berry and contributions from chefs including Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson, with proceeds to go to the Ben Kinsella Trust.

The book, The Celebrity Bake Book, will be published on 6th September 2012 as a full-colour hardback, and is being sponsored by the Food Network UK. The sponsorship will include on-air promotion, contributions from the channel's most popular chefs, and a competition for TV viewers to win a place in the book.

The book will include more than 150 recipes, including Emma Bunton's Squidgy Chocolate Cake, Lorraine Kelly's Dundee Cake and Gok Wan's Chinese Steam Pudding. The Duchess of Cornwall will also be contributing a recipe.

Accent Press m.d. Hazel Cushion said: "Accent Press has a successful track record in producing charity cookbooks including Food for Heroes and East Meets West. We are delighted to have the support of the country's leading food TV channel for the Celebrity Bake Book. Our aim to get it in the top 10 for Christmas and with Food Network UK on board we believe that's possible."

The Ben Kinsella Trust helps to raise awareness of knife crime among young people and their families.
