Abrams has bought a book looking at the history of Oprah Winfrey's US chat show.
Abrams c.e.o. and president Michael Jacobs and editorial director Deborah Aaronson bought world rights from Erik Logan, president of Harpo, Inc, Winfrey's production company. The book, The Oprah Winfrey Show: Reflections on an American Legacy, will be published on 15th November, priced £40. It will feature contributors such as Maya Angelou, who wrote the foreword, and Toni Morrison and Elie Wiesel.
The publisher said: "The book chronicles the full 25 years of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' with unforgettable highlights and images, as well as essays about its indelible impact and most important themes by well-known individuals across a wide variety of areas and interests."
