Winner of the Great British Bake Off 2015, Nadiya Hussain, will be publishing her "dream" debut cookbook with Michael Joseph.
Lindsey Evans, cookery publisher at Michael Joseph, bought world rights to Hussain's debut from Anne Kibel of A K Artist Management.
The book, featuring both cooking and baking recipes, will play on Hussain's "trademark style" of fusing different flavours for "stunning" results. Hussain will also offer "simple family recipes", such as goat’s cheese and black pepper puffs, feta and dill savoury muffins and Za’atar and lemon palmiers.
Evans said: "I was definitely not alone in cheering Nadiya on to win the final of this year's "Bake Off", or indeed the only one to shed a tear alongside her! She brings a sense of joy and wonderment to the kitchen which is apparent in everything she creates, whether that's a beautiful cake or a curry bursting with flavour."
Hussain added: "I'm so excited to be following in great cookery footsteps with the Michael Joseph team at Penguin Random House. My dream of having my own cookery book is becoming a reality and I couldn't be more thrilled."
The book will draw on Nadiya's baking skills but also show that Hussain is an "amazing cook" too, according to Kibel.
Hussain's cookbook will be published by Michael Joseph in June 2016.
