Weekly E-Ranking: Martin’s Fire fails to light up chart

A few weeks ago, Heather Morris’ The Tattooist of Auschwitz couldn’t grab the Weekly E-Book Ranking number one for love nor money. Having finished runner-up to Gail Honeyman’s Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine 10 times over the spring, a brief spell priced under the weekly ranking’s £1.99 digital list price threshold gave it the momentum it needed to make the leap. And not only did it spend four weeks as the ranking number one over the summer, it also ended frenemy Eleanor’s five-month run as the Monthly E-Book Ranking number one in July.
