Weekly E-Ranking: Kay runs away with longest-running non-fiction number one

Adam Kay’s This is Going to Hurt (Picador) has swiped the Weekly E-Ranking number one spot for a third week on the trot, making the junior doctor memoir the longest-running non-fiction number one in the chart’s history. Kay also becomes the first male author to hold the digital number one for more than two consecutive weeks, although female authors Gail Honeyman, E L James, Margaret Atwood, Paula Hawkins and Jojo Moyes have all racked up hat-tricks in the past.
