Weekly E-Ranking: high five for The Handmaid's Tale

The Handmaid’s Tale has racked up a fifth week in the Weekly E-Book Ranking number one spot, matching the run of Jojo Moyes’ Me Before You last summer.

With no sign of its sales momentum slowing while its television adaptation’s run continues, the feminist dystopian novel could easily beat Moyes’ sequel After You, which chalked up six number ones across July and August 2016. However, Paula Hawkins’ The Girl on the Train, with 19 weeks stowed away in its carriages, is way, way out in front. Atwood’s adaptation-makers will have to quickly whip up another series or two if The Handmaid’s Tale ...
