Weekly E-Ranking: Handmaid's Tale keeps grip on top spot

The Handmaid’s Tale has once again taken over the Weekly E-Book Ranking’s number one spot, gripping the list with the might of a totalitarian regime for a third non-consecutive week. Barring the odd brand author hardback spoiling the party - as John Grisham’s Camino Island did a few weeks ago - Margaret Atwood’s 1985-published dystopia looks likely to hang on to the e-book pole until at least the end of July: the TV adaptation, showing on Channel 4 in the UK, has another four weeks left to run.

Tonally, it’s a sharp contrast to last year’s “e-book(s) of the summer”, Jojo Moyes’ Me Before Y...
