Peter James has capsized Paula Hawkins’ two weeks of smooth sailing in the Weekly E-Book Ranking number one spot, as Need You Dead blasted straight to the chart’s summit in its first week on sale. Curiously, in the print charts for the same week, Need You Dead trailed Into the Water by more than 5,000 copies (or 8,500, if the sales of the latter’s trade paperback edition are included).
