Weekly E-Ranking: Dan Brown cracks the code

Dan Brown’s Origin has once again cracked the code to claim the Weekly E-Book Ranking top spot. The fourth Robert Langdon title becomes the first ever male-authored title to claim the ranking’s number one for two weeks in a row. Jojo Moyes holds the record for the longest consecutive run in the top spot, albeit across two different titles (Me Before You and After You, for a combined 10 weeks), while Paula Hawkins’ The Girl on the Train chugged its way to the most (non-consecutive) number ones, with 19 in total.

It was a curious week for the e-book chart, with many of summer 2017’s stalwart...
