Public Library Lending Chart 2016: Lee Child's Make Me most borrowed

It will not go down as a vintage year for libraries, as councils up and down the country hacked away at library services—and consequently, borrowing has suffered. For the year to date, the library books of the nation (or at least those in the 70 public library authorities and more than 1,930 individual branches that Nielsen LibScan covers) have been borrowed 58 million times; down 14.6% year on year.
