Pontas marks 25 years as a home for writers worldwide

Last month international literary agency Pontas threw open its doors in Barcelona to bestsellers Milena Busquets, Federico Moccia and Eka Kurniawan, among others in its family of authors spanning five continents, to mark 25 years in business against the odds. The agency’s anniversary celebrations in Barcelona took place as the Spanish book trade turned out for Sant Jordi, a festival on World Book Day based on the Catalan tradition of lovers exchanging books and roses. It is one of Spain’s biggest book-buying days of the year.
