H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary officially opened the inaugural International Children’s Literature Hay Festival Aarhus 2017 in Denmark on Thursday 26th October.


On Wednesday 25th October, Stanley Johnson (pictured) interviewed author Robert Eddison to celebrate the launch of his new title Wisdom & Wordplay (Filament).  The event took place at the Institute of Directors.


On Tuesday 24th October, the National Literacy Trust gave away nearly 2,000 books to families for free at the intu Metrocentre in Gateshead, as part of its Read North East campaign.


(L-R) Stephanie Allen and Chloe Parkinson ran an event at Waterstones Bluewater on Tuesday 24th October to promote HCG’s upcoming series of books based on The Powerpuff Girls - in partnership with Cartoon Network.


Juno Dawson (centre) and Alex T. Smith (right) celebrated the launch of Grave Matter (Barrington Stoke) with a panel event at Waterstones Kensington High St on Tuesday 24th October. The panel was chaired by author Katie Webber.


David Jason signed copies of Only Fools and Stories (Century) at Waterstones Piccadilly on Sunday 22nd October. Jason is pictured alongside 4 fans who travelled from Norfolk specifically for the event.
