Tom Fletcher launched his new novel The Creakers (PRH) with London school children at KidZania on Thursday 5th October.

Francis Spufford (left) celebrated the launch of his latest title True Stories & Other Essays (Yale University Press) with his editor Julian Loose. The launch took place at the YUP office in Bedford Square on Wednesday 4th October.

 

Sandi Toksvig (right) joined Lilja Sigurdardottir at the launch of her novel Snare (Orenda Books). The event took place at the Icelandic Embassy on Wednesday 4th October.

Transworld celebrated the publication of Dan Brown’s latest novel Origin on Tuesday 3rd October.

 

Kaye Umansky celebrated the launch of Witch for a Week (S&S) at Waterstones Kensington High St on Monday 2nd October.

 

Penelope Lively was awarded the Charleston-Bede Lifetime’s Excellence in Short Fiction Award 2017. Nathaniel Hepburn presented the award at the annual Small Wonder Short Story Festival in Charleston, East Sussex on Sunday 1st October.
