Viviane Schwarz created a window display at the Tales on Moon Lane bookshop in London to celebrate the publication of her new book Counting With Tiny Cat (Walker Books).

 

David Sedaris gave a series of diary readings to close the show at Hachette UK's first group showcase, which was held at the Old Billingsgate in London​ on Monday 6th March. Hachette UK also unveiled forthcoming books from Sir David Attenborough, comedian Sarah Millican, actress Parker Posey and Jo Cox’s husband Brendan Cox.

Head of Zeus held a "Bake-off" event at their head office in London on Thursday 9th March. They raised over £130 for Hand in Hand for Syria, the partner charity for The Aleppo Cookbook which they will publish later this month. 

 

TV and radio personality Gemma Cairney launched her debut book OPEN: A Toolkit for How Magic and Messed Up Life Can Be (Macmillan Children's Books) at the University Women's Club in Mayfair on Thursday 9th March.

Journalist and former Top Gear host James May gave a speech at the Hodder Preview on Thursday 9th March at Shoreditch Town Hall. Hodder authors including Robert Peston, Lucy Worsley, Katie Kirby, Tasmin Treverton Jones, AN Wilson and Andrew Michael Hurley gathered to give booksellers and press a sneak preview of its autumn publishing.

 

Publisher Carole Tonkinson (left) gave a toast at the launch of Lorraine Pascale's latest recipe book Bake: 125 Show-Stopping Recipes, Made Simple (Pan Macmillan) on Thursday 9th March. Friends, media and retailers enjoyed a Lorraine-themed afternoon tea at the St Martin’s Lane Hotel in Covent Garden.
