Monthly E-Ranking: film tie-ins flourish

Followers of the Weekly E-Book Ranking will remember Paula Hawkins’ recently-relinquished 12-week grip on the number one spot, so it will come as no surprise that The Girl on the Train has thundered to its ninth, and third consecutive, Monthly E-Book Ranking pole. Its total of 89,752 units is a 2016 high, beating Sylvia Day’s April chart-topper One with You by some 7,474 copies.
