Paula Hawkins’ The Girl on the Train (Transworld) has racked up its sixth Bookseller Monthly E-Book Sales Ranking number one, shifting 26,544 digital units in May.

This will come as no surprise to regular observers of the Weekly E-Book Ranking, which is to the monthly chart what Buzzfeed is to “Game of Thrones” plot twists: full of spoilers. Hawkins’ psychological thriller was either first or second-placed in May’s four weekly rankings, emerging as a remarkably consistent performer in a landscape dominated by special offers and backlist hits.
