Meet the author: Desmond Elliott shortlistees

The Desmond Elliott Prize 2015 shortlist has been announced, with three female authors all battling it out for the £10,000 prize, given each year for the best debut novel.

Emma Healy's Elizabeth is Missing (Viking), Carys Bray's A Song for Issy Bradley (Hutchinson) and Claire Fuller's Our Endless Numbered Days (Fig Tree) are all in the running the for the award, with the winner announced on 1st July.
