Cold Earth nips into Weekly E-Ranking

The Girl on the Train (Transworld) has bought its ticket for a ninth week as the Weekly E-Ranking number one (and a fourth consecutive pole), in the same week its film adaptation was released and its two print editions leapfrogged Bruce Springsteen to take first and second place in the print Top 50. The film, which has already spent two weeks at the top of the UK cinema charts and denied fellow Transworld author Dan Brown’s Inferno adaptation the box office number one, has really helped boost the book’s sales across all formats, beyond its already stratospheric heights.
