Women dominated the top literary bestsellers last year

Women writers dominated the best-selling literary novels of last year, taking nine of the top 10 spots, according to an analysis of Nielsen BookScan sales.

We have been told practitioners of literary fiction are struggling, but several writers did have a good 2017.
