Shelf Free is an independent group of people, including representatives from 17 public library authorities, who believe ebooks are a crucial part of the service for users of public libraries.
We aim to highlight the issues, invigorate the debate and explore ways in which the market might be developed to give a better experience to public library users. In 2014 we are planning a national e-lending day in conjunction with a pan-European campaign.
We welcome more supporters, so if you have a passion for ebooks and a desire to help make a difference we would love to hear from you. Meetings are held virtually, every two months, so no travel is required. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and check out our website at www.shelfree.org.uk. If you would like an informal chat do also feel free to email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
