The FutureBook Awards celebrate those companies and individuals who are playing a key role in driving the publishing industry forward. At the 2015 awards Hannah Telfer, group director, consumer and digital development, Penguin Random House, was named Digital Leader of the Year, was given the award for Platform of the Year, and HarperCollins' Scrabble Week won Best Use of Digital in a Marketing/Publicity Campaign. The FutureBook Conference 2016 will also play host to the the second BookTech Showcase. The BookTech Showcase is a search for businesses and organisations whose tech innovations have the potential to make a unique impact on the book publishing industry in the years ahead and culminates in one company being given the BookTech Company of the Year Awards.
