September 2020: Non-Fiction Previews

September is, of course, a massive month for non-fiction, encompassing both books originally scheduled to come out this month, and those that have moved into it due to the current crisis. Here’s how I’ve tried to make sense of it for you in what is my biggest ever preview.

Top sellers are books where the author already has an excellent track record, such that you scarcely need me to point out the sales potential.

Ones to Watch are books with strong sales potential by new or less familiar authors, or books that merit highlighting for their prescience or topicality.
