September 2017 New Titles: Fiction Previews

Q4 begins, and out come the big guns. This month the Top Sellers section reads like a who’s who of brand authors, those who are pretty much guaranteed to shift over 50,000 copies in hardback. Reading material for these superstars has been rather thin on the ground but I would draw your attention particularly to John le Carré who returns to the Cold War for the first time in 25 years with A Legacy of Spies (Viking) and, sticking with the espionage theme, the latest from Robert Harris takes us back to four febrile days in 1938 with Munich (Hutchinson).
