November 2020: Children's Previews

A relatively quiet month after the overflowing schedules of September and October, but November is not without big titles, notably J K Rowling’s first children’s book since Harry Potter. The Ickabog was first available free online during lockdown, and is now a gift hardback from Hachette.

Scholastic publishes Chris Wormell’s illustrated edition of Northern Lights, nicely timed for the second series of “His Dark Materials”. If you’ve not yet read Michelle Paver’s superb Viper’s Daughter, then do check out the paperback this month.
