November 2018 Children's Previews

The emphasis is firmly on films this month, with a slew of new movies based on Children’s and Young Adult books. J K Rowling leads the publishing with the screenplay of “The Crimes of Grindelwald”, the second Fantastic Beasts film. The screenplay of the first film sold over 344,000 copies over Christmas 2016. I have high hopes for Peter Jackson’s big screen adaptation of Philip Reeve’s Mortal Engines, and Scholastic’s Illustrated World of Mortal Engines promises to be a must-have for fans of the movie and books.
