March 2017 Paperback Previews

Series of novels by 20th-century women writers seem to be “in” for March—just the thing for Mother’s Day on the 26th. I love Dean Street Press’ new Furrowed Middlebrow list, which focuses on “overlooked women’s classic fiction and memoir”, and there are also forgotten classics by Ursula Orange, Monica Tindall and Elizabeth Fair, with beautiful covers that have clearly been thought about and which display retro quotes such as “the gayest of comedies”.
