By the time this preview's titles are published, bookshops will hopefully be fully open to customers once more. In 2020, children’s books boomed post-lockdown, and given the quality of publishing this spring and summer I predict another bumper season ahead. June in particular is a real stand- out; any of this month’s Editors Picks would be worthy Books of the Month and there are excellent titles right across the categories.
