June 2019 New Titles: Fiction Previews

This June is quite a quiet month for hardback fiction, with the honourable exception of my Book of the Month, which sees the return of Jackson Brodie (hurrah!) after a nine-year absence. Looking at BookScan, Kate Atkinson’s top three bestselling titles overall are Jackson Brodie books, likely bolstered by the TV series "Case Histories", and Big Sky (Doubleday) should be huge in hardback and paperback.

Another potential big seller in hardback this month is Why Mummy Doesn’t Give a **** (HarperCollins), the third in the lighthearted series from Gill Simms featuring the further comic adventur...
