There was plenty of good news at a very upbeat Bookseller Children’s Conference last month, not least that children’s books have seen another year of strong growth, up 11.7% by value this year to date. My favourite statistic: one in every three print books sold this year in the UK has been a children’s book. No surprise then, that we’re looking at an extremely busy start to 2017.
