December 2016 Children's Previews

While tills will (hopefully) be busily ringing, December is generally a quiet month for publishing and this year is no exception, offering only a modest clutch of new books. Among them, however, is one of the most beguiling and original Ya titles of the year. My book of the month, 
Bone Gap, has already notched up an impressive stash of awards in the US, not least the American Library Association’s prestigious Michael L Printz award, and it comes highly recommended.
