Children's: Greg the Sausage Roll trots to the top

Mark and Roxanne Hoyle’s second Greg the Sausage Roll picture book, The Perfect Present (Puffin), illustrated by Gareth Conway, claimed the YouTuber couple’s second Children’s number one. Last year’s Santa’s Little Helper made a return to the Pre-school chart, jingling into 19th. The Hoyles have scored the UK singles chart number one for the past four years, but Greg the Sausage Roll is currently looking like an outsider for the book equivalent.

Jeff Kinney’s Diper Överlöde (Puffin) swiped the Children’s & YA Fiction pole once again, as Ben Miller’s Secrets of a Christmas Elf (S&S) set up its workshop in fourth place.
