Welcome to the YA Book Prize!

And the winner of the YA Book Prize 2016 is...

Worth £2,000, the prize celebrates the best new books that engage with a youth audience, and this year we partneried with Hay Festival, where Sarah Crossan's One was announced as the winner as part of the event's YA programme 'Hay YA'.

The prize now in its second year is for YA titles from authors resident in the UK and Ireland. The inaugural winner was Only Ever Yours by Irish debut author Louise O’Neill.
