Jacqueline Wilson and Melvyn Bragg are among the names to speak at this year's FT Weekend Oxford Literary Festival.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the literary event and will bring together an array of speakers including authors David Baddiel, Liz Pichon, Prince Asfa-Wossen Asserate and Tracy Chevalier.
The festival will feature talks and Q&A sessions with speakers ranging from authors, historians, musicians, politicians and public figures, and visitors will also be able to attend guided literary walks, lunches and dinner parties with speakers.
FT Weekend Oxford Literary Festival director, Sally Dunsmore, said: “We are delighted to reveal the first details of the 2016 FT Weekend Oxford Literary Festival. Every year since the festival began we have improved the variety of events and calibre of speakers and the quality of the 2016 line-up is testament to the fantastic achievement of reaching our 20th anniversary. We look forward to announcing the remaining speakers and to welcoming visitors to our acclaimed programme of events in the historic buildings of Oxford next year.”
The FT Weekend Oxford Literary Festival takes place from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 10th April and tickets are now available from the festival's website.
