Usborne acquires Tamsyn Murray series
21.02.13 | Charlotte Williams
Usborne has acquired a new girls' series by author Tamsyn Murray, with plans to publish the first book in March 2014.
Fiction editor Stephanie King bought world rights in two books in the series featuring heroine Cassidy Bond, as she searches for her special talent. The titles were acquired from Jo Williamson at Antony Harwood. The second book will be published in July 2014.
King said: "It is with squeals of excitement that we welcome the super-talented, hilarious Tamsyn Murray to the Usborne Fiction list. Cassidy Bond had me giggling from the first page; Tamsyn’s portrayal of the trials and tribulations of a pre-teenager just fizzes over with energy and charisma.”
