Two more Rachel Knight for Mulholland
18.01.12 | Charlotte Williams
Mulholland Books has acquired two more thrillers in the Rachel Knight series by O J Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark.
Editor Ruth Tross bought British Commonwealth and European rights from Nancy Wiese at Little, Brown on behalf of Dan Conaway at Writers House. Mulholland plans to publish the first book in the deal, the third book in the series, Guilt by Ambition, in spring 2013, with the fourth Rachel Knight thriller due the following year. The series launched in May 2011 with Guilt by Association, and the second title will be published this May.
Tross said: "Marcia draws on all her real-life experience as a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles to tell authentic, gripping thrillers about the dark side of Tinseltown. Her heroine Rachel will stop at nothing to get the truth, and we are cheering her on all the way. I'm so excited to have the chance to keep building this fantastic author in the UK."
