14.06.12 | Katie Allen
Sphere has signed two more novels from the author of e-book The Wicked Girls, which was published in February this year.
Catherine Burke, associate publisher, acquired UK and Commonweath rights in the two novels by Alex Marwood from Laetitia Rutherford at Mulcahy Conway Associates.
The first will be published as an e-book in late 2013, with a paperback following in the first half of 2014. Sphere will publish The Wicked Girls in paperback on 21st June this year.
Burke said: “The incredible praise The Wicked Girls has had in advance of paperback publication has been thrilling to see and is a testament to what a sensational author Alex is, plus a real insight into the power of social networking in terms of driving interest and word-of-mouth sales for new authors and great books."
Marwood said: "I am absolutely delighted at the prospect of working with Sphere again. Writing The Wicked Girls was an amazing experience, and the chance to do it again is a dream come true."
