Transworld launches Discworld app
08.02.13 | Charlotte Williams
Transworld has created the first Discworld app, giving users the opportunity to delve into the fantasy city of Ankh-Morpork as imagined by Terry Pratchett.
Discworld: The Ankh-Morpork Map, developed with app development agency Agant, will be available for £9.99/$13.99/ €12.99 from 11th February, and is designed for the iPad.
The app will provide a virtual experience of exploring the city, and will feature two hand-drawn maps of the location with more than 1,500 residents wandering the streets.
Among the app's features will be illustrations and quotes from the Discworld novels. The text from The Compleat Ankh-Morpork is also included.
