Titan buys Harry Potter movie guide
01.01.70 | Graeme Neill
Titan has acquired an accompaniment to the Harry Potter film franchise, which drew to a close this summer with “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II”.
Harry Potter: Page to Screen: The Complete Film-making Journey will be published in the UK on 25th October, with HarperCollins to publish in the US. UK and Ireland rights were bought by Titan editor Joanna Boylett from Insight Editions for a “six-figure sum”.
The title, which will be published as a hardback priced £49.99, provides an in-depth look behind the scenes of the movies, including extensive profiles of the cast and crew.
Secrets uncovered include how Harry’s Invisibility Cloak was created, which mythical creature required most make-up and wider issues, such as the impact of the death of actor Richard Harris, who played Professor Dumbledore, and the young stars’ thoughts on growing up in public.
