Skidelsky to leave Observer

William Skidelsky, books editor at the Observer, is stepping down from his post, having taken voluntary redundancy. He leaves at the end of the month.

The Observer said it was looking to fill the role.

Observer editor John Mulholland told The Bookseller: "William has been a wonderful colleague and, while it's always sad to say goodbye to a valued colleague, the work he has done will enable us to continue to provide our readers with the best books coverage in the business while we look for his successor."
