Simon & Schuster has signed another two books by young adult author Becca Fitzpatrick.
Ingrid Selberg, director of children's publishing at S&S, bought UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) to two novels by the Hush, Hush author from Catherine Clarke at Felicity Bryan Associates.
Tempest, the first book of the deal, will be published in autumn 2011. It will conclude the trilogy Fitzpatrick began with Hush, Hush. Its follow-up, Crescendo, is published on Thursday and coincides with a two week author tour of the UK and Ireland.
Selberg said: "We’re delighted with the success of Hush, Hush and are proud to announce this new deal on the eve of Crescendo being published and Becca’s first visit to the UK. She’s a fantastic storyteller and we are very excited to be continuing our relationship with her."
