28.09.10 | Graeme Neill
Canongate has hired John Seaton, the editor of print on demand imprint Faber Finds, as its head of inventory and backlist.
Seaton joins the publisher in this newly created position on November 1st.
Jenny Todd, sales and marketing director, said: "Our growing backlist, digital and print on demand sales, as well as our recent acquisition of CSA Word, mean that this area of our business needs greater focus than ever before.
"John’s unrivalled experience and tremendous enthusiasm will be a wonderful addition to Canongate and we are very happy that he is joining the team here."
Seaton was editor of Faber Finds since 2007. Before that he had inventory management positions at Simon & Schuster and Penguin.
