Scotland date for J K Rowling
06.09.12 | Benedicte Page
J K Rowling will appear at this year's Lennoxlove Book Festival in Haddington, East Lothian, on the opening evening of the festival on Friday 2nd November (8.30pm). It will be the only public event she will be doing in Scotland for The Casual Vacancy (Little, Brown), with tickets set to go on sale on Thursday 13th September.
Tickets to the author's England events, at the Southbank Centre (27th September) and the Times Cheltenham Literature Festival (6th October) have unsurprisingly sold out.
There will be a BBC 2 "Culture Show" special and a BBC Radio 4 "Front Row" special for the author around publication date (27th September), as well as a profile interview in the Guardian, a Q&A in the Times and BBC news coverage on TV, radio and online.
