Sarah Norman to join Hutchinson

Cornerstone has appointed Sarah Norman as senior editor for Hutchinson, with Norman moving from her role as senior editor at Atlantic Books.

Norman joined Atlantic Books as editorial assistant in 2005, becoming senior editor in 2010, working with books including Luke Jennings' memoir Blood Knots, and novelists such as Christine Dwyer Hickey and Damon Galgut. She takes up her new role at Random House on 10th April, and will report directly to Hutchinson publishing director Jocasta Hamilton.

Hamilton said: "Sarah Norman is a fantastically creative and experienced editor who has worked on a range of bestselling fiction and non-fiction. I'm delighted she's joining us as we expand and reinvigorate Hutchinson."

Norman said: "I've had a wonderful time at Atlantic Books, surrounded by amazing authors and colleagues, but the chance to work with Jocasta and the Hutchinson team was one I couldn't pass up. I'm thrilled to be joining them to seek out new authors at such an exciting time for the list."
