Rosoff and Grey win library awards
21.06.07 | Caroline Horn
Meg Rosoff and Mini Grey have won this year’s CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals respectively for Just in Case (Puffin) and The Adventures of the Dish and the Spoon (Red Fox).
The awards were presented this lunchtime (Thursday) at a ceremony at the British Library. Just in Case, Rosoff’s second novel, saw off strong competition from authors including Kevin Brooks, Anne Fine and Marcus Sedgwick to win the award. Mini Grey, who has previously been shortlisted, was the unanimous choice for the Greenaway Medal.
