Ripley Publishing launches fiction series

Ripley Publishing, which has developed a range of non-fiction imprints including Ripley’s Twists and Ripley’s Believe it or Not, has launched into fiction with a new adventure series called Ripley’s Bureau of Investigation (‘RBI’).
RBI is based around a group of teen agents with special gifts who embark on a series of adventures, investigating tales and events in a bid to separate fact from fiction. The series is aimed at children aged seven to 11 years.
Each book includes a factual section that looks at the genuine people and events from around the world that helped inspire the adventure. The titles also include collectors’ cards featuring the agents and the characters they encounter.
The series will launch in May, backed by an extensive worldwide campaign including membership packs, a dedicated website, social networking, games and competitions. The first book will have an introductory price of £1; subsequent titles will retail at £4.99. The Ripley titles are published by
