Ripley Publishing launches fiction series

<p>Ripley Publishing, which has developed a range of non-fiction imprints including Ripley&rsquo;s Twists and Ripley&rsquo;s Believe it or Not, has launched into fiction with a new adventure series called Ripley&rsquo;s Bureau of Investigation (&lsquo;RBI&rsquo;).<br /> <br />RBI is based around a group of teen agents with special gifts who embark on a series of adventures, investigating tales and events in a bid to separate fact from fiction. The series is aimed at children aged seven to 11 years.<br /> <br />Each book includes a factual section that looks at the genuine people and events from around the world that helped inspire the adventure. The titles also include collectors&rsquo; cards featuring the agents and the characters they encounter. <br /> <br />The series will launch in May, backed by an extensive worldwide campaign including membership packs, a dedicated website, social networking, games and competitions. The first book will have an introductory price of &pound;1; subsequent titles will retail at &pound;4.99. The Ripley titles are published by<br />Random House in the UK. </p>
